The explosion-proof chisel is a non sparking hand tool designed for flammable and explosive environments (such as petroleum, chemical, mining, natural gas, etc.). It is made of beryllium bronze (BeCu) or aluminum bronze (AlCu) alloy to avoid sparks caused by friction and impact, ensuring safe use in flammable gas environments.
Spark-free chisels include round, hexagonal, pointed, flat, diamond, and straight flat.
