Explosion-proof files are spark-free tools designed for flammable and explosive environments. They are mainly made of beryllium bronze and have explosion-proof and anti-magnetic properties.
Beryllium bronze materials have passed friction and impact tests to ensure that no sparks are generated. Hardness above HRC35, explosion-proof grade EXIIC level, suitable for hydrogen environment (concentration ≤21%).
Common types:
Flat files, half-round files, round files, triangular files, square files, etc., with specifications covering 200mm/250mm.
Application scenarios
Explosion-hazardous areas such as gas stations and chemical plants.
High-concentration environments such as paint spraying workshops and gas pipeline maintenance.
Precision instrument maintenance places that require anti-magnetic.
Non-sparking files only can be also used in beryllium copper material.
